On February 14, 2018, a former student entered Parkland, Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and opened fire, killing 17 people and wounding 17 others, in what became at the time the deadliest shooting at a high school in United States history.

A message from Andy Pollack

Parkland Dad

Meadow’s Movement is a registered 501(c)(3) charity that I established after my incredible, beautiful daughter, Meadow Pollack, was taken from me in the senseless mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highschool in Parkland, Florida on Valentine’s Day four years ago.  Since the loss of my daughter, I have dedicated myself to understanding how such a thing could happen and what can be done to make sure that other parents never have to go through what I (and so many other parents) have had to endure.  I published my findings in a book – “Why Meadow Died - The People and Policies That Created the Parkland Shooter and Endanger America's Students.”
